(1) Islaamic History The blessed life of Rasulullaah (SAW)
Allaah showered His special mercies upon the rearing of Rasulullaah (SAW) from the very beginning because of which he was able to maintain a life of purity despite living in an environment of Kufr, Shirk and rampant evil. He had a natural dislike for idol worship and was known to be the most truthful and chaste of all people. He always gave due consideration to relatives, assisted people and fulfilled his promises. Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Abi Hamsa (RA) reports that it was before the time that Rasulullaah (SAW) announced his Prophethood when he promised Rasulullaah (SAW) that he would return shortly to meet him. He then forgot about his promise and it was three days later that he passed by the spot to find Rasulullaah (SAW) still waiting for him. Without showing any anger, all that Rasulullaah (SAW) said to him was, “You had caused me the trouble of waiting here for the past three days.”
(2) Allaah’s Power Earthquakes
Allaah has created mountains to balance the earth so that it does not shake. Actually, all of mankind are unable to shake the earth. However, there are times when Allaah wishes to teach man a lesson and causes earthquakes to shake the ground. Despite the earth being one, Allaah confines the quakes only to the regions He chooses. Such is the might of Allaah!
(3) A Fardh Not allowing a Salaah to become Qadhaa
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that the person who intentionally performs two Salaahs at the same time has reached the doors of major sins.

(4) A Sunnah Four acts that all the Ambiyaa (RA) practised
Rasulullaah (SAW) stated that the following four acts were the practice of all the Ambiyaa (RA):
Marriage,
Use of the Miswaak,
Modesty,
And applying perfume.

(5) An Important Act and its Virtue The example of good and evil character
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that good character eradicates sins just as water melts ice and that evil character eradicates good deeds just as vinegar spoils honey.

(6) A Sin Begging merely to amass wealth
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “The person who begs only to increase his wealth is really asking for the embers of Jahannam. Whoever wishes may therefore ask for more or for less.”

(7) This World That portion of the world that is of benefit
Rasulullaah (SAW) once said, “O Abu Dharr! That portion of this world which benefits your Aakhirah is not harmful, but that portion of this world is harmful which benefits only your life in this world.”

(8) The Aakhirah None shall bear the burden of another on the Day of Qiyaamah
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “None shall be burdened with (suffer punishment for) the load (the sins) of another (because each person will be responsible for his/her own actions). If any burdened (sinful) person has to call for his load (of sin) to be carried (by another), none of it will be carried, even though it be his close relative (that he calls to carry for him)”.

(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) Counteracting heat with watermelons
Rasulullaah (SAW) used to eat watermelons with dates saying, “We counter the heat of dates with watermelon and counter the cold of watermelon with the dates.”

Watermelons counteract the extreme heat of dates and are therefore effective in averting headaches that stem from this heat.
(10) Qur’aanic Advice
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “There should be a group from you (the Ulema and those adequately trained for this purpose) who invite towards (all that is) good, command (others to do) what is right and forbid (others from) evil. These (people who do this) are indeed the successful ones (those who have reached their goal). (The good and evil mentioned in this verse refer to what the Shari’ah defines as good and evil)”.
