A SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF HAZRAT HAJJI MUHAMMAD FAROUQ SAHIB (rahmatullahi alalhi )

Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Farouq sahib was born in Aligarh, India on 29 Zhul-Hrya 1361A.H. (6 January 1943). After the partition oflndia and the subsequent creation of Pakistan in 1947, Hazrat’s entire family migrated to Pakistan, where they settled in a historical city called Sukkur, situated on the West bank of the Indus river in the Sind Province of Pakistan. According to the elders in the family. Hazrat was blessed ftom childhood with noble temperament. courage, and virtue. Signs of righteousness and virtue were discernable from birth, as attested to by his abundant association withthe Ahlullah (Pious servants of Allah) at a tender age.
