(1) Islaamic History Hadhrat Yusha bin Noon (AS)
Hadhrat Yusha (AS) was amongst the Ambiyaa i of the Bani Israa’eel and from the progeny of Hadhrat Yusuf (AS). He spent his youth in the service of Hadhrat Moosa (AS) and Hadhrat Haaroon (AS). The Qur’aan speaks of a youth who accompanied Hadhrat Moosa (AS) when he set off to meet Hadhrat Khidhr (AS). This youth was Hadhrat Yusha (AS). He was made the Nabi of the Bani Israa’eel after the demise of Hadhrat Moosa (AS) and Hadhrat Haaroon (AS) and he ultimately led them out of the Valley of Teeh and into Baytul Muqaddas. The special advice that Hadhrat Yusha (AS) always gave to the Bani Israa’eel was not to become too proud about the bounties that Allaah had blessed them with.
(2) Allaah’s Power Who makes water reach the ends of trees through their roots?
We need some machine or pump if we want water to reach a place that is higher up and cannot do so in any other manner. Allaah has allowed many trees of all sizes to grow on earth, some reaching heights of over 200 feet. However, Allaah makes the water from the depths of the ground reach the roots of these trees and then move further up to reach every leaf growing on the tree. This is all done without any machinery or pumps. In fact, the water then even reaches further to the fruits and flowers that may grow upon these leaves. Such is the great power of Allaah, which indicates that He is the Rabb of all.
(3) A Fardh Masah on leather socks
Hadhrat Ali (RA) reports that he saw Rasulullaah (SAW) make Masah on the top of his leather socks.
When a person wears leather socks after performing wudhu and the wudhu breaks afterwards, it will be Fardh (obligatory) for him to make Masah on the top of the socks (if he intends keeping them on).
(4) A Sunnah The two Rakaahs before Fajr

[Mustadrak of Haakim]
(6) A Sin Usurping the right of a Muslim
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “Allaah has forbidden Jannah and made Jahannam compulsory for the person who usurps the right of a Muslim through a false oath.” “Even if it is something insignificant, O Rasulullaah (SAW)?” someone asked. “Even if it is a twig of a tree,” Rasulullaah (SAW) replied.
(7) This World Following the desires will lead one astray
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “I fear that you will follow such desires that will lead you astray, which concern your stomachs and private parts. You will then fall into such desires that will lead you astray.”
(8) The Aakhirah Glad tidings to the people of Jannah

[Surah Hijr, verse 48]
(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) Cure for insomnia
When someone complained of his insomnia, Rasulullaah (SAW) advised him to recite the following Du’aa:
اَللّٰہُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمٰوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَظَلَّتْ ، وَرَبَّ الْأَرْضِیْنَ وَمَا أَقَلَّتْ ، وَرَبِّ الشَّیَا طِیْنِ وَمَا أَضَلَّتْ ،

TRANSLATION: O Allaah! Rabb of the seven Firmaments and whatever they cover, Rabb of the seven earths and whatever they contain, Creator of the devils and whoever they mislead, be my Protector from the evil of all Your Creatures lest some of them may hasten with insolence against me or transgress the bounds. Honoured is he who is in Your Protection and Blessed is Your Name.”
[Tabraani in his Kabeer]
(10) Qur’aanic Advice
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “Be patient! Your patience is only from Allaah (only Allaah can give you the ability to exercise patience). Do not grieve over them (the Kuffaar when they refuse to accept Islaam) and do not be saddened by their plotting (against you because Allaah will see to them). Undoubtedly Allaah is with those who adopt Taqwa and with those who adopt the path of good (Allaah shall assist them against all their enemies)”.
[Surah Nahl, verses 127,128]
