(1) Islaamic History The bounties showered on the Bani Israa’eel and their rebelliousness
The second phase of the history of the Bani Israa’eel starts after the destruction of Fir’oun and his people. After crossing over the Red Sea, they then entered Arabia into what is known as the Valley of Sinah and Teeh, where water and plant life is very scarce. Allaah’s bounties were then showered upon them since they did have two of Allaah’s honoured Ambiyaa i amongst them. Allaah sent clouds to shade them from the harsh sun, he caused twelve springs to gush forth for them from a rock, and Allaah sent Manna and Salwa from the heavens for them to eat. Allaah also gave them a new Shari’ah when he revealed the Torah to Hadhrat Moosa u. However, they did not take proper benefit from these bounties and started to disobey Hadhrat Moosa u. A large group from them started to worship the calf with Saamiri, thus deserving Allaah’s punishment. It was also as a form of punishment for their insolence that they were forced to wander lost in the Valley of Teeh for forty years, because of which they never had the privilege of entering Baytul Muqaddas. May Allaah save us from people who are disobedient to their Nabi(AS).
(2) Rasulullaah (SAW)’s Miracle Rasulullaah (SAW)’s ability to see behind him
Rasulullaah (SAW) once said to the Sahabah (RA), “Do you people think that I can see only in front of me? By Allaah! Your concentration, humility and Ruku (in Salaah) is not hidden from me and I can see you behind me as well.”

(3) A Fardh The wealth of orphans
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “If (after training and testing the orphans) you notice that they understand, then hand over their wealth to them”.
[Surah Nisaa, verse 6]
If any Muslim has the wealth of an orphan in his trust, it is Fardh (obligatory) for him to hand it over to the orphan when s/he comes of age.
(4) A Du’aa from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) The Du’aa to have children
The following Du’aa should be recited when a person wants to have children:

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِيْ فَرْدًا وَّأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِيْنَ

TRANSLATION: O my Rabb! Do not leave me childless when You are the Best (and only One) of (those who provide) Successors.
[Surah Ambiyaa i, verse 89]
(5) A Nafl The Tasbeeh Faatimi
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that a person will never be at a loss if he recites سُبْحَانَ اللهِ (‘Subhaanallaah’) 33 times, الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (‘Al Hamdulillaah’) 33 times and اللهُ أَكْبَر (‘Allaahu Akbar’) 34 times.

(6) A Sin Dressing to impress people
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that when a person dresses to impress in this world, he will be given the clothing of disgrace on the Day of Qiyaamah, which will be filled with fire.

(7) This World Turning away from this world
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that when a person does not have any desire for this world, it gives comfort to his body and mind, whereas hopes and desires for this world only increases grief and worry.

(8) The Aakhirah The buildings of Jannah
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that the buildings of Jannah will have bricks of gold and silver with the mortar in between made of pure musk. The pebbles will be pearls and rubies, while the sand will be saffron.

(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) Drinking in three sips
Rasulullaah (SAW) drank in three sips and said that this promotes calm, protects against diseases and difficulties, and also allows proper digestion.
