(1) Islaamic History Hadhrat Haaroon (AS)
Hadhrat Haaroon (AS) was the real brother of Hadhrat Moosa (AS). He was born three years before Hadhrat Moosa (AS) and passed away three years earlier. His life is therefore linked to the life of Hadhrat Moosa (AS). When Allaah instructed Hadhrat Moosa (AS) to call Fir’oun to believe in Allaah, he asked Allaah to make his brother Hadhrat Haaroon (AS) a Nabi as well so that he could join him in the duty. Allaah accepted his Du’aa and the two brothers therefore went together to address Fir’uon and to secure safety for the Bani Israa’eel from Fir’oun’s tyranny. When Hadhrat Moosa (AS) went to Mount Toor to speak to Allaah, he left Hadhrat Haaroon (AS) with the Bani Israa’eel. It was during this period of time that the magician Saamiri deceived the Bani Israa’eel into worshipping the calf. Hadhrat Moosa (AS) was furious when he returned, but Hadhrat Haaroon (AS) explained to him that the Bani Israa’eel had threatened to kill him when he tried to prevent them from worshipping the calf. Hadhrat Moosa (AS) then calmed down, since Hadhrat Haaroon (AS) was involved with him from the very beginning in the effort to guide the Bani Israa’eel to the straight path.

(2) Rasulullaah (SAW)’s Miracle Hadhrat Muhammad bin Haatib (RA) is cured
As a child, Hadhrat Muhammad bin Haatib (RA) was brought to Rasulullaah (SAW) by his mother at a time when he had burnt his hand. “O Rasulullaah (SAW)!” his mother said, “This is Muhammad bin Haatib, who is the first child to be named after you. Rasulullaah (SAW) passed his hand over the child’s head and prayed for him to be blessed. Rasulullaah (SAW) then also applied some of his blessed saliva on the child’s face and on his hand, as he recited the Du’aa:

أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِيَ لَا شِفَاءَ

TRANSLATION: Remove all harm O Rabb of the people, give cure for You are the Curer. There is none that gives except You.

The mother relates that they had not yet even left the presence of Rasulullaah (SAW) when her son’s hand had been completely cured.

(3) A Fardh Allaah will bring everyone back to life
Allaah says in the Qur’aan, “It is Allaah Who has created you, then sustains you, will then give you death, and again give you life (on the Day of Qiyaamah)”.
[Surah Room, verse 40]
It is Fardh (obligatory) to believe that everyone will be brought back to life after death, which is referred to as “Ba’th ba’dal Maut
(بعث بعد الموت)”.
(4) A Du’aa from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) The Du’aa for everything to be taken care of
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that when a person recites the following Du’aa when leaving the house, everything will be taken care of, he will be protected and saved from Shaytaan:

بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلىَ اللهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ

(5) A Nafl Reciting Surah Kaafiroon before sleeping
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that the person who recites the entire Surah Kaafiroon before going to bed will be saved from Shirk.

(6) A Sin It is Haraam to regard something as Haraam when it is Halaal
Allaah says, “O you who have Imaan! Do not forbid (declare as unlawful) the pure things that Allaah has permitted (made lawful) for you (by regarding something Halaal as Haraam) and do not overstep (do not exceed the limits of the Shari’ah). Surely Allaah does not like those who overstep (exceed limits)”.
[Surah Maa’idah, verse 97]
(7) This World Forsake the beauty of this world
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that the person who desires the Aakhirah should forsake the glitter and glamour of this world.

(8) The Aakhirah Seeing Allaah in Jannah
Rasulullaah (SAW) said that the most fortunate person in Jannah shall be the one who will be able to see Allaah day and night.

(9) Cures from the Qur’aan and Rasulullaah (SAW) Marrow
Hadhrat Anas (RA) reports that he was eating with Rasulullaah (SAW) when he noticed that Rasulullaah (SAW) was searching in the plate for the pieces of marrow (Dodhi) to eat. Hadhrat Anas (RA) says that it was from that day on that he began to love eating marrows. [Bukhaari]
Allaama Ibn Qayyim (RA) writes that the cool and wet nature of marrows make them beneficial in treating fever and its water effectively treats Istisqaa (an illness that causes the patient to suffer extreme thirst). When the marrow is cooked and the juices mixed with honey, the resultant mixture effectively dispels yellow bile and phlegm.[Tibbun Nabawi]
(10) Advice from Rasulullaah (SAW)
Rasulullaah (SAW) said, “Greed, miserliness, and Imaan can never be found together in the same heart.”

A Muslim can never be greedy and miserly and must always save himself from these evil traits.
