” When Allāh’s  mercy becomes focussed upon His slaves, He manifests the means of their guidance. This is in fact the reason for sending the Ambiyā’ ‘alayhimus salām, they call Allāh’s slaves towards Him. By virtue of Prophethood terminating in the personality of Rasūlullāh S.A.W, this task has become the responsibility of each member of the Ummah of Muḥammad S.A.W, especially the ‘Ulamā’ and Mashāikh, who bear a special responsibility in this regard. ”
